The First GAA World Games will begin on March 6th 2015 in Zayed Sports City.

28 teams from Canada, North America, New York, Argentina, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australasia will compete in the GAA World Games.

We will begin on day 1 with a Parade of the teams in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Nayhan al Mubarak al Nayhan, who, along with the GAA President, Aogan O’Farrell will open the games and meet the athletes.

This is a 9 a side game, with 12 on a panel. Games are 9 minutes per half with a 3 minute break.

Day 1 will see group games, and day 2 is all about knockout competition leading to the eventual winners!
